We provide both private lessons & group classes at the kennel or nearby parks for the advance classes. Feel free to contact with any questions you might have about signing up or to schedule individual training lessons. Our next set of group classes will start up again this summer, on June 22

Get your puppy off on the right start with lessons that encourage good behaviors, avoid unacceptable ones, all the while helping you establish a strong bond with your new arrival. For puppies 8 weeks to 12 months old. AKC Star Puppy Certificate earned.
Course length: 6 weeks.
Price: $150 plus a fee of $10 that you will pay to AKC
Key topics include:
· Introduction to the canine language and simple English, teaching your puppy to speak your language. Terms such as sit, come and stay
· Basic human manners
· Socialization with people and other dogs
· Relationship-forming games
· Problem prevention
· Tips on puppy health, grooming and nutrition

AKC Canine Good Citizen & TDI test preparation:
Get your dog off on the right start with lessons that introduce you dog to basic obedience commands while on leash, in the home and at play. For dogs & puppies 4 months or older. AKC CGC Certificate earned.

Course length: 6 weeks.
Price: $150 plus a fee of $10 that you will pay to AKC

Developing reliability to basic commands such as sit, down, come and stay

Transition from training collar to flat collar

Increasing training reliability without treats

Socialization with people and other dogs

Tips on health, grooming and nutrition
The CGC test is very similar to the TDI test (therapy dog international) and in this class we will help you prepare for that test also. As being a great pet really means your dog is your family's personal therapy dog.
AKC ACGC (Advanced CGC or Community Canine) (12pm)

Taking training to a whole new level. We work towards off leash control of your dog in real life situations with field trips 4 of the 6 classes. For dogs 6 months or older. Pre-requisite is the CGC. AKC ACGC Certificate earned.

Course length: 6 weeks.
Price: $150 plus a fee of $10 that you will pay to AKC

Key topics include:

Challenging basic commands in real life situations with lots of distractions of people, other dogs, food, doors, and around cars.

Transition to no leash needed obedience

Increasing training reliability with voice and body language

Socialization with people and other dogs

Relationship-forming games

First and last class here at the kennel others are field trips to various locations
Private Classes
Please contact us to schedule a private lesson. We prefer Saturdays, but can work with you other days if absolutely necessary.

By default, we cover one of the above mentioned courses. If you have a specific behavior or skill you wish to cover, we will discuss and adapt to whatever you need.
We prefer if sessions are made a week in advance, just to ensure we will be available.
​
The cost is $40/hour
