We will be retiring a few dogs in 2012. These dogs will be anywhere
from 5 to 7 years old. They have been used in our breeding program,
they will be current on all their vaccinations, and have had their hip,
elbow or eye certifications done. These dogs are extra special to us and
though their fee is reduced (below the average puppy/ adult dog
adoption fee) because of their age their value to us is priceless. We ask
if you are interested in one of these special dogs that you fill out our
standard adoption application and indicate that you would like to be
considered as a retirement home for one of our dogs. Please also
include pictures of your home in relation to where the dog will sleep and
live. These dogs will only go to homes where they will be keep inside
and given lots of TLC in their remaining years of life. We also require
that they stay on a premium food, take Nuvet plus and NuJoint Plus the
